Rear Garden – Farnham Common, Buckinghamshire

Ben designed a raised rear garden which faced many challenges. He provided enough space for a seating area, a dining and BBQ area as well as a small private area under a bespoke contemporary pergola. Joining the two areas is a modern path and soft planting.

The rear terrace is laid with long narrow strips of porcelain paving to give some formality and structure to the garden and to lead one’s eye along the back façade of the house.

Using topiary domes on the lawn, breaks the lawn area and keeping natural flow through the garden space.
